Visual Artist
My current work is a visual response to my internal world. An attempt to express emotions with paint, clay, metal or stone what words can’t convey. These “responses” are often shown in terms of the landscape. Through value, color, repetition, and various thicknesses of paint or clay, I can show various personal emotions such as transformation, growth, solitude, and love. Sometimes, within the landscape, I include familiar objects such as, houses, windows, boats as symbols for my personal growth. These objects have become important to me because it shows the ever- present nature of spirituality in my everyday life.
